Qidi Plus 4 Door Handles

Overview

A few different handle designs for the Qidi Plus 4. A step file is included for easy remixes. 2x 3mm Heat set inserts are required per handle. Stock hardware will thread into the inserts. Inserts need to be installed with a soldering iron. Have you ever printed a handle with TPU95A? Try it, leave infill at 15%. It leaves a pleasant texture to the hand and is very sturdy.  The stock handle had to be slightly modified to allow for the heat set inserts. The embellishments on the sides are a bit shallower than the original.

Printing

No supports are required for any handle.

STOCK-Print face down, insert holes up.

ANGULAR-Print bottom down, insert holes on build plate.

GRIP-Print laying flat on side.

CURVED-Print on front edge as in pic.
