Qidi Q1 Pro Filament Spool Stiffner

I know there are probably dozens of these models out there, but I was too lazy to find them so I made one that suited my needs better. 

I do like the original location of the filament arm, it works quite well for my setup and keeps the filament path linear for my more brittle filaments as opposed to a top mount or true side mount. 

PLA seems fine, print semi solid. Should be about 100g filament. I superglued the edges to the model and it works fine. I have included holes in the side for anyone wanting to drill out the original mounting arm and thread a screw through. The slots in the back are for anyone that wants to epoxy fill the existing arm to the printed brace. Honestly, I thought the epoxy or screws would be needed but just the super glue has been working very well for the past few months.
