Update 15.03.2025:

V2-Files:

I added a base so the filament is less likely to pop out and made it slightly bigger and additionally made the screw-on base bigger for easier mounting. Thus you need to print the rings for the bearings and snap them on beforehand. The V2-rings are slightly bigger for the same reason and are still compatible with the V1 Spool-Holder.

Printer settings for the V2-spool holder:

Supports: yes - organic
Pattern spacing: 20mm
XY-Seperation between an object and its support: 2000 %
Pause at layer 56 at 0,2mm layer hight

This is a simplistic filament guide using two 22mm bearings with 8mm inner diameter.

The two bearing-rings are designed to keep 1.75mm filament in place so it can not get out either way.

The print is designed in a way that the printer stops after a certain hight so you can put the bearings onto the print while printing. The screw holes are for screw heads with a diameter of 8mm and a body diameter of up to 4 mm.

If you want to download the *.obj-Files, I added a screenshot of the printer settings (only in German, my bad)

The bridging on the lower part was  no problem for my MK4S.

Printer Settings:

  • Raft-layers: 2
  • Support: Organic
  • Pattern Spacing: 50mm
  • Support: On build plate Only
  • XY-Seperation between an object and its support: 1500 %
  • Pause at Layer 48 at 0,2mm layer hight.
