I wanted a simple and quick to print tool caddy, that can hold all the included tools for the Centauri Carbon printer. Plus a pair of flush cutters. The tools are organized, with the most frequently used tools towards the front.
The holder for the scraper blade is designed to work with the scraper handle, that is provided on the USB from Elegoo.
I wanted a caddy that would bolt on to the side of the printer, with the choice of which side to place it on. If you printed the add-on to hold the glass top on left of the printer, then print the version of this model designed for the right side.
The caddy will bolt to top front corner of the side panel, using the existing screw holes.
You will need two(2) M3 replacement screws, as the original screws are not long enough.
The new screws should be 3 mm longer to allow for thickness of the plastic.
The model is designed to print without support.
Updated to version 2
To celebrate open source, I decided to recreate the model in FreeCAD 1.0.
In doing so, I also introduced an extra small compartment to store the included spare silicone wiper pad, provided by Elegoo.
I haven't tested, but the redesign should have the same dimensions, so that the remix by MagicShrimp should still work.
The Fusion model is discontinued, and removed from the download section, replaced by the free and open source FreeCAD model.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
