This is a simple piece of adaptive technology designed at the suggestion of Ames on TikTok. It makes it so a light switch is reachable at a lower height. For the rod you can use a ¼ inch wooden dowel, or in my case the bottom piece of a plastic hanger. This is printed in TPU and has nice flexibility and seems to grip the switch plenty well.
Update: At the request of many users we added a small paddle that can be added to the bottom of the dowel to allow a service animal to boop the switch up or down. Depending on your needs there is a thick or thin option of the paddle. This was also printed in TPU to keep it flexible and softer for dog noses.
