Six custom airships for the board game expansion Scythe: The Wind Gambit made by me. They each follow the original style of Jakub Rozalski’s artwork in order to go well with the rest of the game, especially the little Mechs, which are unique for all of the fractions – unlike the airships in the original Wind Gambit Board Game expansion. My ships represent the specific style of each faction, its unique features and abilities reflected in the game mechanic and in the game’s lore.

Even Though there’s seven nations in the game, my pack only includes six models: the original model from the Wind Gambit stays in the form of a black ship representing the Saxon Empire, whose style suits the original design the best. The rest is then to be replaced by my models.

All of the ships are designed to be able to carry the in-game tokens for resources and soldiers in the right amount and so to function just as desired within the game. All of the models can be placed on the original stands.

If you’re not an owner of the game expansion and just want to have some nice models for yourself, there's also my rendition of the original stand for the ships included in the pack.

Printing information:

  • I highly recommend printing the models in their proper orientation as they are set up within the 3mf files in the slicer – that is vertically and with organic supports. Due to the complexity of the models, different orientations and support setups may result in significant imperfections.
  • All of the white models in the photos were printed from a marble PLA using a new Bambulab P1S printer with a 0.4 mm nozzle.
  • For the purpose of the board game, you can either print the models in their proper colors, or color them afterwards.
  • The stand can be printed using a transparent PLA. A surprisingly high degree of transparency can be achieved by setting up the printing speeds to be very slow – about 100 mm. If that is your case, make sure to adjust the printing settings accordingly.

If you have any questions or problems with the print, feel free to let me know : )
