Mini-Z Rim Insert - 2wd to AWD

Some 1/28 scale cars use rims with an axel with a 3.5mm x 2mm peg that goes through the rim. You cannot use 2wd rims with a bearing for these cars. I'm using this for my RTRC RTB AWD car, but the axels are the same dimensions as the Atomic ones.

Put insert into the round opening of the 2wd rim. Use some glue to keep it in place. You have to use a 6mm washer on the other side to keep the nut in place.
