OEM mount is a long and gangly pole, too wobbly for me! Too many posts of folks adding guy wires to keep the wobble down. Any wobble at all will offset your yarbo core by the same amount; its supposed to be static!
This mount is intended to mount to the soffit fascia at the roof peak with some countersunk kregg screws, nice and securely with zero wobble, but also less clearance than the OEM mount. By mounting it so close like this, you are cutting down on the amount of free space and clearance around the datacenter, this MAY impact your reception.
I've added the .f3d
(fusion 360) file as well so feel free to tweak to your desire/roof pitch, etc. Just about all dimensions are in the parameters file and the web swoop are adjustable splines if you don't like the look I chose.
HIGHLY recommend printing with several walls in a temperature and UV stable material (probably not PLA). I've added features that should help with strength, but better outdoor material will always be a plus.
On MY print, I embedded the yarbo logo in the base with a 0.4mm depth to get the nice shadow effect in my print. I did NOT upload that here because logos from companies are scary. I added a photo of what it looks like though if you want to do it to yours in the slicer.
