Description

PDF

This is openGrid, a general use wall and desk mounting framework/ecosystem. openGrid uses an opinionated design, focusing on ease of use and a clear structure for all the base parts. Still it is mainly meant to be extended by everybody out there, thus all the necessary files for remixing and modelling are also provided.

Another focus is that it should be as "living room compatible" possible. This means one of the goals was to create a reduced, nice looking design for everything.

openGrid uses a gridfinity compatible grid size of 28mm and also tries to incorporate existing solutions like Multiboard, HSW, GOEWS and the good old metric screws. Also it has first class support for Underware.

As a freamwork it is meant to be extended by you, it's user! Feel free to create any parts you like - also drop me a note if any of the provided modeling files lack details or anything else is missing. openGrid tries to embrace an open ecosystem and community.

See my list of openGrid models.

And now have some fun printing your own openGrid!
