This was a quick attempt at providing my granddaughter a “crayon car” like the one in her Richard Scarry's “Busy Busy Cars and Trucks” book.
I created the car body using OpenSCAD, and have included that file here so you can modify it if desired. Not really much to it.
The tires and wheels were borrowed from the Dual Mode Windup Car Remix.
I printed this on a Creality K1 SE using Creality Hyper PLA for all parts except the tires, which were printed with Sain Smart 95A TPU. The tires are a friction fit to the wheels. The wheels are held to the axles with M3 screws. There isn't much horizontal load on the wheels, so short screws should suffice, but longer screws may provide some additional strength to the axles.
I printed everything but the body without supports. The body dimensions are approximately 43 mm x 51 mm x 232 mm. I have successfully printed it both vertically and flat on the bed, using supports either way.
The author remixed this model.
My model adopts the wheels and tires from this model.
