During high volume commercial usage, the pump motor on La Marzocco's GS3 could overheat and stop functioning until it cools. This is due the proximity of the pump to the large steam boiler and lack of cooling. The models uploaded here is an early prototype to solve this issue which involves sandwiching a PC case fan between some 3d printed intake manifolds to attach underneath the GS3 and deliver cool air around the pump. This solved all overheating issues for us. I collected some data to indicate the temp differences which is in an attached image.

We used a generic 92mm PC cooling fan like this: https://a.co/d/64VOoBM

and zip tied the two 3D print files on either side and double sided taped the assembly underneath the GS3 after removing the metal pump motor shield.

You'll also need some small generic 120V AC to 12V DC transformer to install inside the GS3 to power the PC fan and at least a simple on off switch.

These models were rough mockups which required a little bit of trimming and hole drilling to fit. Since we no longer have a GS3 there are no further plans to refine or advance this design however hopefully it is still helpful if you are running into this same issue.
