I had issues with too high of current flowing out of my fish tank filter pump. Half of the fish food was jetted down to the floor of the tank before the fish could eat it, even on lowest setting. This helps diffuse the current of the waterfall out of the filter or pump. It can also be used for diffusing water when adding more to the tank so as not to disrupt the decorations or rocks or fish inside!

The post snaps onto the tank (M3 screw optional) and the diffuser has adjustable heights (M3 12mm screw and nut) - may not fit all tanks.

I used prusaslicer to insert a modifier box on the diffuser body: 0 top and bottom layers, 1 perimeter, and used a Gyroid fill pattern at 20%. This model is available in .3mf format. I added the STL but I cant save these slicer modifications to the STL - so .3mf file is available too.

Seems to work well in my tank and allowed me to increase the pump volume on my tank without making the current circulation too high. My equipment: Top Fin Silenstream filter from the generic starter kit at Petsmart.

I'm still new to modeling, so if anyone has clever remixes or unique modifications for their tank I'd be interested to see what you can do with my starting point. :)
