This is a vertical mount for an Aquara light sensor model T1.

The idea behind this is to mount it in a window with the light sensor part facing towards the outside. The light sensor itself has adhesive on the back and built in magnets, which is great, but this design doesn't allow easy mounting in this scenario. I considered mounting the sensor to the outside of the window but was concerned it wouldn't last long out there.

This is designed with a hole so you can still reach the coin slot on the back to change the battery after you mount it.

The base is designed to accommodate a standard Command strip. You could also just use double sided tape, which is what I'm using actually.

  • Printer used - Creality Ender 3 V3 KE
  • Nozzle - 0.4 mm
  • Material - PLA
  • Layer Height - 0.2 mm
  • Infill - 20% Gyroid
  • 2 walls, 2 top layers, 2 bottom layers
  • Brim - No
  • Supports - No
  • Notes:
    • The sensor may be a little snug in the mount. You should be able to just kind of snap it in.
