This small vice has multiple ways to secure objects, using pins (spools) or jaws. Versions are available with and without a base plate. The base plate allows attachment to a drill press or workbench.

Regular jaws or pins (spools) can be attached to the vice, depending on the project. TPU can be used with these to cushion objects being clamped. Other attachments can also be secured to the vice using a M4 bolt.

M4 threaded inserts are used in the body of the vice. Glue the M6 hex nut into the center bar and face that side towards the bolt knob, pushing the nut into the bar during clamping. A longer M6 bolts passes through the vice and moving center bar. A drop of oil is good. Use CA or epoxy the secure the nut on the end of the bolt as it comes out of the vise or double nut it.

Hardware:

  • M4 30mm Socket Head Cap Bolts
  • M6 130mm Hex Head Bolt, Nut and Washers.

This 90° Corner Clamp will be a helping hand to hold a 90° corner and "T" joints together securely during assembly.

Another clamp for smaller projects I designed uses Neodymium magnets to hold model parts together for gluing.

I designed a triangular corner clamp for larger projects that can be seen here:

Here is another style of corner clamp, a square clamping jig that lets you a variety of clamps (C, spring, bar, etc.) to secure two parts together at 90°.
