FJ-Z05 Solenoid into Protean

FJ-Z05 solenoid instead of OOD Neutron into Protean. 

The FJ-Z05 is a known solenoid in the foam blaster community, is under ½ the price of a Neutron, and is easy to obtain internationally.

I have tested the fit but not launch. As standard with this solenoid, you may need to modify the solenoid to increase the throw length. There are various tutorials for this on youtube etc that specifically relate this solenoid and foam dart blasters.

If you are doing the mod yourself to a different Protean receiver, all you really have to do is widen the sides of the solenoid's hole by 0.25mm each and add a 2.6mm shim at the rear. (You can even do this the old fashioned way with a file and folded paper …). The vertical alignment is unchanged.
