Modeled roughly after the Bapezilla from Anti-Yo. Same shape and weight, but modern bearing seat.
For assembly you need a m4 20mm bolt and nut, as well as a spec C yoyo bearing and a yoyo string.
You can get this Yoyo as smooth as any other commercially available Yoyo, if your printer is calibrated well and you use these settings:
- Use as many walls as needed to completely fill the model or use archimedian chords for solid infill and top/bottom pattern. Either way the yoyo should only consist of round extrusions so the weight distribution is equal all around
- Print with the bearing seat on top and use supports for the hub
- Random seam. Minimize seam by using appropriate settings like retract on layer change, wipe while retracting, good wipe distance (maybe 1mm), retract amount before wipe 100%
- I used a low layer height of 0.12 to get it as smooth as possible. You can also sand it later.
You can use silicone in the provided grove, or use a fitting Yoyojam O-ring (either full or shaved).
