Reforged in the Third Age and powered by kyber, this Andúril-inspired lightsaber brings the Flame of the West to a galaxy far, far away.

I was heavily inspired by the Narsil saber from Atlas Sabers on Thangs, except this is built for the Adafruit RP2020 Propmaker.

This is the default RP2040 Propmaker format, with an emitter, hilt, and pommel, but with the addition of the handguard piece (print two, obviously). The main body parts screw together, and the handguards should press fit, but I'd add glue for safety. Fully assembled, this is a two-hand size.

I recommend printing in PCTG (not PETG) with 3-4 walls. The layer bonding strength is excellent.

I painted mine after printing, but you're free to experiment in whatever way suits your fancy. Step files included, and photos coming soon.

EDIT 2/28/2025: I've updated the Hilt to decrease the wall thickness for the button (I found it difficult or impossible to thread on the retaining nut), and also the Emitter (it was crooked when fully tightened onto the hilt, and it was driving me nuts). I also uploaded the updated full lightsaber step file.

Model origin

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

I modeled this lightsaber from scratch, but took heavy visual inspiration from the collapsible Narsil saber by Atlas Sabers on Thangs.
