I printed this compact and filament-efficient case using PETG, ensuring durability while keeping material usage to a minimum. The design is small, lightweight, and optimized for easy printing without sacrificing strength.
The hinge is designed to use a piece of filament as the axle.
I've uploaded two 3MF files: one optimized for multi-material printing and another for manual color changes using a 0.4mm nozzle.
For manual color changes, you’ll need to print the parts one at a time while ensuring that your printer does not perform bed leveling between prints. For example, first, uncheck the left case and print the logo. The manual version has a 0.3mm first layer for the logos and main parts to ensure better visibility. Then, switch filaments, uncheck the logo, and print the main case in a different color. Repeat the same process for the lid.
Important: Double-check that your printer does not probe the bed over already printed parts to avoid collisions!
