This is a replacement button for denim jeans. I had an older pair that the original crimped button pulled out (didn't seem to be crimped to the fabric very well). I used a heat set insert in the button, a washer, and a button head screw to hold it all together. I printed it out of ASA to help it hold up in the laundry, especially the clothes dryer. I also used some lock-tite thread sealer on the bolt to prevent it from backing out in the wash. I have included 2 files, V1 is what I used for my inserts, but I also included a file with a larger hole for wider inserts (V2). The button is 17.5mm in diameter, and works very well on the jeans I made it for. It has been in use for months now, with no signs of giving up!
