It’s stupid simple. Like, really stupid... No sliders, no screws, no elastics, no levers and shit—just exactly what it needs to be. It holds your cards. It holds them really well. But sliding out cards is really easy. The top card? Slides out solo for that smooth, one-handed flex. But you can easily slide out the whole stack and flay them down to the card you are looking for. A clever design with a bit of friction in the right place does all the work.
I’ve been using this thing daily for over 2 years—printed in PLA—and it’s still going strong. No cracks. It's dumb and it works. I hold cash in it too (folded into thirds) at the back.
The tolerances? Dialed TF IN. Got weird-sized cards? Yeah, this thing will not work for you.
Other Versions:
HEX Edition: For if you're looking for something that’s just a little bit sexier (and with extra grip to boot). It’s still as dumb as ever, just with more drip.
DUMBASS Wallet: This version has it all. Money clip, pocket clip, keychain accessory, lanyard accessory, ID badges, AirTag support.
Support (my dumb ideas):
If you want to buy me a beer or just reach out, you can find me here. Whether it’s feedback or just a nod of appreciation, I’m always happy to hear from people. But let’s be real - the most effective form of communication is cold, hard cash (or beer).
STL Files:
10 sizes: There are STLs for 3-cards through to 12-cards. You do not need to print one that is exactly the number of cards you have. It can be loose, and the cards are still retained. Don't print the god damn 12 card model if you have like 3 cards though.
Exact Dimension: Internal depth = Number of cards × 1.1 mm (e.g., 6-Cards = 6.6 mm). If you measure your card stack, you may find that a lower card-count model fits fine. The design is intentionally conservative to work for everyone.
Printing Tips:
Brim: If your bed adhesion is great, no brim is needed. If not, use a brim. This wallet’s dumb, but you don’t have to be.
Don’t Use Vase Mode: Several have asked about vase mode. Just don’t. This thing is like 16g of filament and was designed to be solid. Having any voids will affect the springiness of the design.
Material: PLA, PETG, ASA, PC… whatever makes you extra happy is what I want you to use.
Changelog
V1.1 2025-02-25: Retention lip got a tune-up—grips the top cards a bit more, bottom cards a bit less. More balanced retention force across the stack.
V1.2 2025-02-27: The retention lip got another tweak because the 3 & 4 card models were gripping like a jealous ex and the 10-12 card models were a bit loose (not going to say like ur mom, that would be very rude).
