The Outdoor Animal Food Dish, or Bing dish as named in memory of its necessitater and design overseer. Inspired by cat, necessitated by nature, and brought to reality through 3-D printing… and then critiqued by cat again.
This outdoor food dish was designed to solve the problem of ants in our cat's food, and it worked quite will, with a surprising side effect.
Use: Fill the mote around the outside of the dish with as much regular tap water as you can conveniently carry it with. Add 2-3 drops of liquid dish soap to the mote around the center dish, Dawn was used in testing. Then fill the smaller dish in the center with as much cat food as you deem necessary, the bag recommends, or your cat is able to convince you of.
Be advised, the shade of green PETG used for the Bing Dish in the photos attracted a surprising quantity and variety of insects, so be prepared for your Bing Dish to act not only as a solution to insect based feline food thievery, but also as a watery grave bug trap.
