K1 Max active chamber heater

This is an active heater for the chamber in the K1 Max.

It's meant to be used controlled seperate from the machine as a standalone mod

I personnally don't use the side fan of the K1 max so that's why you can see I modified it as a chamber filter. It's still mounted in the original holes so this mod fit perfectly fine also if you use the side fan as intended.

I used a 24v 100W PTC heater like this one :

I've included a very very basic schematic of how it's connected in the pictures.
The PTC is “only” a 100W even if you could find a way stronger one but I don't want to cook every component in my printer and note that I isolated with a heat resitant 5mm thick silicone like mat in the bottom of the printer to insulate as much as possible and not cook the motherboeard or the rest of the component under

PLEASE NOTE : use this mod at your own risk, I'm not responsible if you destroy you printer and maybe some component are not made to be used in a very hot environment. I use this mod to only steadily hold temp for ABS, ASA or maybe PA but I never go over 55°C, because I start really quickly to have issues of step skipping, or strange behavior from the rest of the electronic
