I originally designed this system for a wine rack (still a work in progress) and quickly realized it could be applied to many other builds as a replacement for 2020 extrusions and similar structures.

DIN Rails are widely used in electrical cabinets worldwide, making them an easily accessible and standardized component.

From the start, my goal was to make this system fully 3D-printable without supports, as removing them would be cumbersome. Only one piece (the triad with one reinforcement) requires supports, its 3MF file has the support already painted for minimal hassle.

I hope the community expands on the DIN System. To facilitate this, I’ve included three DXF files with the necessary profiles for further development.

The 3MF files are pre-oriented for optimal printing, while the STL files will need to be manually aligned to the print bed.
