3D-Printable Socket for Snapmaker 2.0 Display Enclosure Mounting
This document details the design and printing parameters for a socket designed to mount the Snapmaker 2.0 display on top of the enclosure, utilizing the aluminum profile.
Mechanical Interface:
- Interface with Aluminum Profile: Direct insertion and secured with 2 x M4x10 screws.
- Magnetic Holder Interface: Designed for the angled Snapmaker magnetic holder (not the straight version). Secured with 2 x M4x8 screws.
Printing Specifications:
- Printer: Snapmaker A350 (Dual Extruder, 0.4mm Hot End)
- Material: PETG (AmazonBasics Transparent Blue) - Compatible with other PETG filaments.
- Print Speed: 50 mm/s
- Layer Height: 0.16 mm
- Print Orientation: Front face down (for optimal thread quality)
- Infill Density: ≥ 15%
- Supports: Not Required
This design provides a robust and convenient solution for integrating the Snapmaker 2.0 display with the enclosure.
