An attempt at making telescope quality optical lenses with a SLA 3D printer! As can be seen in the photos, the resolution was just not good enough. Additionally, there is likely waviness throughout the thickness. Crystal Clear resin was used, but there are still layer lines. Several post-processing techniques were also considered but were not efficient.
This lens was designed by Falling Entropy using open-source Optical Ray Tracing software and Fusion 360.
