D20 Dice Mold for direct Metal Casting

This casting system as two main components, a:

• Pouring Basin (reusable)
• D20 Shell Mold (sacrificial chip off)

The resin used is a high heat tolerance resin specifically designed for metal casting called ThermaCast by Monocure3D.  You CAN NOT use “normal” resin or FDM.  Don't even try it (I have, it does not work!) :)

This has a thin sacrificial D20 Dice Mold your 3D item from the face of the Mold Blank, that when cast is held by the reusable Pouring Basin.  You can then cast low/med temp alloy metals (up to 500c) into the assembled mold.
