This is a miniature sanding block that's designed to hold sandpaper (or sanding sponges) that are 72x20mm. It is a simple design, basically two rectangles fused together. It has a handle for your fingers to hold onto when sanding. You can cut a piece of sandpaper/sponge to size and stick it on with double-sided tape. Or you can purchase pre-made sandpaper/sponges that come installed with adhesive backing. This model was inspired by the Madworks MT49, which is basically a simple piece of plastic that holds a piece of sandpaper. Both Madworks and Dspiae sell adhesive sandpaper in 72x20mm sizes, so you can just use those if you don't want to cut your own. Feel free to remix or build upon this model, would love to see what ya'll come up with.
No supports needed, just print it in the default orientation. I printed it at 0.20mm layer height at 50% triangle infill.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
