Michelin (Costco) wiper blade retaining clip for Mercedes J-hook arm

Costco (at the time of this writing) sells Michelin wiper blades.   While they do not have a 25" blade that my car requires (MBZ E320 / W210), a 24" blade is good enough.  However, it does not come with a mounting clip that secures the wiper blade to the J-hook wiper arm. The wiper will work for a while, but the blade will work itself loose.

This clip attaches to the wiper blade so that the J-hook cannot wiggle free.

I suggest printing it on the side with supports as shown with 15% infill, 3 perimeter, 5 top and 5 bottom solid layers.  

To install, put the clip over the long flat part of the wiper arm and then carefully put the round pegs into the holes.  Slide the wiper blade to seat fully against the J, and then secure the pointed end of the clip.

The thin sections that hold the pegs are a bit fragile, so be careful during installation.  They should be fine once the clip is fully installed, as they see little force on them during normal use.

Wiper blade was scanned with Matter and Form THREE scanner, the mesh was converted to SAT using TurboCAD, and the clip was modeled in Alibre Design.  Printed in PLA.
