Calibrated Banana - for scale and reference

High-performance Calibrated Banana. Use in any photo where dimensions, scale or proportions are to be communicated by photography. 10mm checkerboard design should allow for precise measurements and compensation for perspective and lens distortion.

This item is metric. I may produce a version with a half-inch pattern if there is is sufficient demand for an Imperial Banana 

150mm outer radius allows convenient positioning in the vertical plane. Stem has 20mm and 30mm radii and there are additional 40mm 60mm and 110 radii for further reference.

There are 72, 90 and 135 degree angles between straight sections and sharp edges have a 1mm radius for safety.

Print with a colour change at 3mm, optionally at 0.6 and 1.2 to make the rear text pop. Should fit on an Ender 3 or Prusa i3 Mk2 or later bed, but as you can see from the photos I used a much larger printer.

Do not leave PLA versions of this in your car in summer, they may become uncalibrated.

Please ensure your printer and slicer are already calibrated for shrinkage.
