For some reason these all oriented facing away from the camera in the previews, just rotate them to see the ‘face’ of the tags.
These are simple 1" [25.4mm] tags that hang from a collar to indicate a sub's status.
They are thin (1.5mm) because they are designed to be printed and then glued to each other to create a full tag. This allows a degree of customization using the 'blank' tag as a starting point.
I believe the icons are outlined here: http://www.ownership-possession.com/icons-explanation
However I based mine on the designs I located here, due to the inclusion of a 'littles' variant for a friend of mine: http://blog.beautifullybound.com.au/bdsm/bdsm-symbols-and-their-meanings.htm
The icons themselves are flush with the face of the tag, and the 'floor' of the middle is half the overall thickness.
I've added a NFC version of the tag, for those of you who want to embed an inexpensive NFC tag between the layers of the hanging tag. You can find small NFC tags in many online electronics vendors. Mine are coming from Adafruit, but I'm sure there are others out there (aliexpress is a good source). You'll probably want to carve out a bit of the backside for the actual NFC chip and antenna, but given how many different size/designs there are out there, I'll leave the specifics up to you since your chip might vary from mine.
After printing you'll likely have to go back in and clean up some gaps in the layers, depending on your settings.
With the raised symbols, you can easily go in with a bit of paint or UV cure resin and fill in the recessed bits with a contrasting color.
Or if you want to be super fancy, swap to a contrasting filament for the raised bits.
I've also included some (untested) inlays if you want to do these in multicolor but lack a multi-head printer. With a bit of careful alignment these can also likely be used to do multi material prints.
Printed with a 0.4mm nozzle. Any bigger and you run the risk of losing smaller details. These would be ideal for resin printing, but are also suitable for FDM printing.
If you want to make your own, I've included the blank tag as a STEP file as well. I'd love to see what people come up with!
