Improved center marker with ruler

Updates

• 04/2025: Rebuilt the model from scratch and added 120 and 150 mm versions (v2.2). This revision also further increases the ruler thickness to 150% of the original, offers slightly larger numbers and markings for improved contrast and printability and ditches the millimeter scale due to mediocre print results. In addition, chamfers do not differ anymore between the top and bottom.

Description

An improved version of the center marker with ruler by AK3D. Now includes a grip, a corner cutout, a 20% stronger ruler and a version with a hole for storage/hanging it on the wall. Just like the original, this version has an embedded scale and is suitable for parts up to roughly 180 mm in diameter.

Print settings

• Layer height 0.2 mm
• Line width 0.42 mm
• Infill 15% (keep infill percentage low, too much will make the part tail heavy)
• 3 wall lines
• 5 top & 10 bottom layers
• Supports not required

For a two color print as shown in the pictures, switch colors after layer 3 / past 0.6 mm.

Approximate print time @ 60 mm/s: 2:20 h (90 mm) / 2:30 h (120 mm) / 2:40 h (150 mm)

Added a grip, a corner cutout, an optional hole for storage and made the ruler section 20% stronger.
