An easy “my first TPU” print for those starting out - and very useful. Presenting a simple garden hose end washer - complete with little tabs to prevent it from falling out once installed in your hose nozzle or sprinkler head.
Update: Added single item STL file version of this model on July 17 2022
How to print:
.3mm draft mode, any FLEX or TPU profile you like. Use either FLEX or TPU filament. Shore 95 to 98 gives a serviceable washer, although quite hard (tighten mightily). Shore 80 to 85 (Ninjaflex) gives you a beautiful washer that is quite pliable.
As sliced here uses Concentric top fill and bottom fill patterns - better leak prevention than a cross hatch.
If you have never printed TPU or Flex before, be sure to use something like glue stick or elmers glue on the bed to allow a good release and not damage your PEI surface. If using a prusa MK3S/+ printer, back out the tension on the extruder gears to the last two threads.
