• Uploaded a lower detail STL of the complete model as 3M triangles was a bit overkill.
• Uploaded the combined shoulder and forearm. I hope to figure out a joint for this.

BUDDY is a delightful 3D-printable companion, standing just under 200mm tall. 

With his cheerful look and posable limbs, Buddy can wave hello or strike a playful stance wherever you place him. His carefully designed joints let you animate his arms, legs, and head, so you can bring him to life on your desk or shelf. 

Despite his small size, Buddy is easy to print and assemble, making him a perfect project for makers of all experience levels. Customise his colour scheme to match your style, add fun accessories, or simply enjoy his friendly face as is. Wherever Buddy goes, he’s sure to bring a smile. Let him brighten up your space and spark your creativity! You’ll love having him around.

The cavity in the torso could be used for any kind of decoration. A heart is included.

I struggled with the hands so used the hands from ETPBot V2 https://www.printables.com/model/672598-etp-bot-v2-action-figure-easy-to-print-with-pla

Assembly:

Step 1: Prepare the Parts

• Print all necessary parts:
  • 2x Shoulder Joints
  • 2x Arms
  • 2x Ear Caps
• Consider painting or decorating parts before assembling for easier handling and a cleaner finish.

Step 2: Assemble the Head

1. Insert the neck joint into the back half of the head.
2. Apply glue around the perimeter of the head, avoiding the neck joint.
3. Press the front face onto the back half of the head to secure it.
4. Apply glue to the ear caps and attach them to the ear stems.
   • The joining surfaces have a slight curve—rotate the ear caps until they sit flush.
5. Glue the hair decoration onto the top of the head.
6. Attach the antenna by gluing it into place.

Step 3: Assemble the Torso

1. Insert the hip joint into the back half of the torso.
2. Apply glue around the perimeter of the torso, avoiding the hip joint.
3. Press the front half of the torso onto the back half to secure it.
4. Glue the shoulder joints into the recesses on either side of the torso.
5. Attach the base of the neck joint into the top recess of the torso and glue it in place.

Step 4: Attach the Limbs

1. Attach the hands to the arms.
2. Connect the arms to the shoulder joints.
3. Attach the legs to the hip joint.

Step 5: Final Touches

1. Glue the heart (or another decoration of your choice) into the cavity in the torso.
2. If you haven’t decorated yet and wish to do so, now is the time!

Your assembly is now complete! Enjoy your creation.
