Autumn arrived when the leaves are falling and the pre-school invites for the annual lantern procession. Ah, my little one, it's the first time for her.
We decided to both get involved, both in our field of specialisation. Daddy on the 3D-Printer, the girl with her golden pens...
We are presenting this little lantern (120mm x 120mm). It is lightweight (44g), so that the kid can lift it (and it saves on Daddys precious filament). The candle is vented by the holes in the bottom and effectively protected by the carefully painted paper wrap. We ended up using a LED-candle.
Print 2 Rings, 3 Verticals and 1 Top and Bottom
Glue the Verticals to Top and Bottom
Wrap everything with thin paper or cloth (glue to Top and Bottom)
Cover the glue with the Rings
