Cork Plant Coaster

This modern plant coaster made out of cork features an embedded cork coaster. It utilizes cheap IKEA cork coasters which are just 2€ for 3. The benefit of cork is its moisture-absorbing capabilities to protect wood right under your planters. However, simple cork coasters aren't elegant-looking. This issue is fixed by this coaster, by using the cork for its capabilities and integrating it into a modern design.

Just select a size for your use case, print the cutting template, resize the cork for your needs, print the coaster, and embed the cork in it.

Printing Recommendations

• Layer Height: 0.20mm/0.25mm
• Infill: 100%
• Supports: Not required
• Filament Suggestions: PLA/PETG
• Add pause right before the overhangs start to print

Printing Instructions

First, print the cutting template, and use it to size cut the cork coaster. Since there is wiggle room, you don't need to be super precise but don't cut it smaller than the template.

Print the actual coaster, and set a pause right before the overhang prints (11.5/11.6mm). Insert the cork coaster, and continue printing.
