Suzuki Sierra/SJ413/Samurai transfer case shifter bush.

If you are having trouble with the transfer case being stuck in neutral, you may need to replace the shifter bush.

To remove the shifter bush, remove the boot on the inside of the vehicle, then remove the boot on the transfer case, then push down on the metal retainer ring and turn anticlockwise. There is a spring under it that holds it under tension, it can be difficult to balance the turning and the pushing forces.

Re-installation is the reverse process.

If you find that it is still a bit loose, you can print another one, and install it as a stack, depending on how worn the pins and retainer sleeve are.
