/!\ Do it at your own risks. Be careful with 230V. Disconnect EVERY power source before performing any task. Do continuity test before powering it on and ensure nothing is loose /!\

I release myself from every responsibility regarding this mod.

I mean if you are doing this you probably already know what you are doing and you have the required tools.

Hardware required :

  • 4x - M3x35mm
    • “ElecBox Extension - Case
  • 4x - M3x16mm (17mm max)
    • “ElecBox Extension - Cover
  • 4x - M3x20mm~
    • C14 Socket
  • 2x - 230v socket 3 pin IEC320 C14 inlet plug
  • 2x - Circuit Breaker 16A (10A if you can find some)
  • 1x - 5 ports Wago 221 (the square one) for the earth

You will need to disasemble the 4x M6 screw of the main elec box in order to screw the extension. Otherwise, you won't be able to fit an allen key.

Normally you there is no need to use support in order to print everything (I've printed mine without any). Don't forget to use brim for the DIN rail and print it vertically. I recommend to glue the printed DIN rail.

There are 2x C14 230v outlet as you can see because i run my printers on an inverter, one for the bed, one for the electronics.

I've integrated and 5 port Wago in order to put everything to earth (bed outlet, electronic outlet, bed ground, chassis ground, 250W PSU) and normally it clips right in, but i haven't tested it yet. Don't forget to break the built-in support for the clip, might help to get it to fit.
