# Intro
###########################################################################

This is a modular filament dispenser for the SV08. It is designed to sit on top of the printed top hat or the standard metal frame. It is inspired by Box Turtle and some Voron design parts.
There are varying 2020 extrusions around, this design accommodates both the 6mm and 5mm inner width profiles. [See the attached pictures with highlighted dimensions and folders respectively]

All Models are oriented for printing

# Print Settings
###########################################################################

NOTE 1: Check your tolerances
NOTE 2: If you need larger tolerances message and I will gladly upload
NOTE 3: Colour swap is approx. 5mm from bed
NOTE 4: No Supports are needed except for the roller, the 4 corners of the side panels and the rail guide on the trays, provided your settings can bridge. See print settings

I have re-oriented all files to print as they load.

All trays require support on the rail guides only

Files requiring supports in the corner sections are the following

  • Panel_Side_6mm
  • Panel_Side_5mm

There is a Folder with test prints to check your printer tolerances, support settings and play with some colour swaps at the right layer. [Approx 5mm from Bed]

The heat insert in the Panel_Side files will print as per below with bridging. Ensure you put a support blocker here.

I found sometimes the overhangs setting messed around, check your bridging layer when you slice and play around with this setting on or off.

You will need a M6 Tap to thread the inner hole of the Aluminum Profile.

General Flow

  1. Tap the M6 holes
  2. Assemble Aluminum profiles to one side panel
  3. Assemble extruder brackets and KCM mount if using CoPrint
  4. Insert the tray configuration you want
  5. Assemble the other side panel to the extrusion enclosing the trays
  6. Use the Mounting brackets to fasten to the top hat
  7. Insert the PTFE tubing for the extruder side if needed
  8. Insert PTFE from extruder to print head.
    • Note the rear panel holes are large enough to push the PTFE through wherever you want. I have not constrained it to a single panel or outlet.
