I wanted to get rid of third party elements, like the quick connects and the metal screws. The out- and inlets are printed M10 screws with a hole for the filament and the tube. The hole has a profile to clamp a tube when a second nut is screwed on the top. I still use an aluminium tube as spool axis, but that is a personal choice.
The holder for the spool axis is also a M10 screw with a profile to hold a 10 mm axis.
It is possible to fasten the screws using your fingers, but it may hurt a bit. Instead use a wrench or the M10 bit that I added.
I found the original containers used often to narrow. Instead I use a 10 L IKEA 365 container. It holds two spools with amble space around but still not using more width than the one spool containers. The depth is a bit larger.
For now, you need to take additional parts, like spacers for the spool axis, from the remix origin.
Prints nicely with PET and a 0.4 nozzle using adaptive layers and quality settings.
The author remixed this model.
I replaced the the quick connects for the tubes and don't use metal screws. All elements are based on printed M10 screws. The tubes are clamped using a second nut.
