Solder Fume Extractor 120/25mm (FreeCAD)

Remix of Vinark's thoughtful and clever design for 120/25mm fan. 

Electronic components, wiring and bolt sizing are identical to Vinark's model; see their page. 

Parametric for 80/15mm or 120/25mm fans; see FreeCAD file.

This model updates based on choice of fan diameter 80 or 120mm. For anything else manual adjustments will be needed ie fan center diameter, fan depth. 

‘horizontal_spacer’ can be used to add space in the electronics compartment.

Measure your fan width/diameter against the model. Tolerances are snug. Any warping will also negatively affect fitment.

Accepts 15x10mm rocker switch (14x9mm opening). Adjust as needed.

I chose PLA and 0.2 layer height, standard settings.

If curious inserts used were brass tapping 3mm x 0.5 thread size, 5.94 length

• likely “flipping” issues during parameter change
