When I purchased the Putikeeg MCT11 model iambic key, I wanted to create a portable-friendly case.

UPDATE: Posted v2 models which leverage 12mmx2mm and 6mmx2mm magnets due to better availability of those sizes per a request from a user. The v1 models are the original models as discussed below.

This case holds the key snugly in place, and the magnets make certain it doesn't pop open when handled. Can be printed with any filament, but I would avoid PLA if you plan to keep it in a car on warm days. The case leverages 12mmx1.5mm and 6mmx1.5mm magnets - be sure to check polarity as you install them via press-fit or a bit of glue as needed.

I suggest at least 4 top and bottom layers and 20% infill.

The key can be operated while installed in the base of the case thanks to the cut-out for the cable at the rear of the case. The case has magnets on the bottom, and I applied thin anti-skid bumpers to the magnets to make it stay in place on the desk.

I will continue to post revisions as I make them. If you are interested in getting access to the CAD materials, reach out to me and I'll share them via Tinkercad.
