The concept of Texas Jack's MHSS was good, but who has 3mm threaded rod just lying around? Not me. But you know what everybody does have? M3 bolts. I modified the original so that you can use simple M3 bolts (10mm or longer) to put everything together. The only minor caveat is that you have to alternate the A and B spacers.
Start with an A spacer on the left end, then add a divider and a B spacer. Screw two M3 bolts into the large holes on the right side of the B spacer, though the divider, and into the small holes in the A spacer. Then add another divider and A spacer on the right and attach with 2 more bolts. Continue until it's as big as you want it. Then attach two additional dividers to either end with two more M3 bolts each.
Print parts as provided without supports. Something better than PLA is probably best for the dividers - I used ABS.
The author remixed this model.
Modified so that threaded rods are no longer needed for assembly. Slimmed everything down to minimize material usage and print time.
