This is a remix of the two different 2kg spool holders

Two types of 2kg spool extensions combined with a bolt and nut.

All these can be combined and/or used with another extension to lift the large diameter spool up by 4 cm. For the lift, it needs another support on the side due to the high weight of the spool (or at least a counterweight spool to prevent excessive bending).

Printed in PETG… 100% filling to make sure but it worked well with PLA and 20% filling as well.

These extensions work well with the original (short) spool holders from Prusa, which were not printed but made of heavy duty black material (their studs never snap).

Differences of the remix compared to the original

I have seen many reports of snapping the two studs from the extensions for the wide 2kg spools. To overcome this, I mounted bolt and nut to the end of extension - after that no snapping anymore.

I also created an extension to further lift large diameter spool up by approx. 4 cm but this solution also requires an additional support - also provided.
