I was looking into a cheap and modular extension for the IKEA LACK table legs for a bigger printer like my ender 5. Everyone prints their big extensions, which results in high filament costs and take a very long time.

I've made an different approach, use the legs from another LACK table to extend it to your needed length!

What do you need:

  • (2x) IKEA LACK table
  • all-purpose/wood screws (16x4mm x 25mm or 3.5 x 25mm, longer also possible, but not bigger then 4mm diameter)
  • M5 screws (16x M5x15mm)
  • M6 nuts (16x)
  • (optional but recommended) M5 washers (pick whatever size you like, the bigger the better it holds)
  • wood drill (5mm and <3mm) See pictures for installation.
