Not an original creation; the Yomega (yo-yo with a clutch mechanism) was released in 1984, and I had one back then.

@ThomasMallory_351700 considering the original design wasn't made in a cad software, let alone make it printable, I would say that it was his creation. Taking inspiration from another creation is allowed even if the patent isn't expired, as long as your design is diffrent and better (or worse) in some way. Plus, it's not that deep, lol, relax
