Designed for 3mm thick panel and 9mm of clearance for panel overlap.

Important!!!!

  • The following files require a pause at certain layer height to place hardware.
    • DoorCatch DoorFront.3mf Pause at 2.80mm
    • DoorCatch FrameBack Regular.3mf Pause at 4.00mm
    • DoorCatch FrameBack Lowprofile.3mf Pause at 4.00mm
  • Be sure to check magnet polarity when inserting mid-print.
  • Magnets could get pulled up by steel nozzle or other metal parts. Do watch the print.

Hardware per set (Also see example photo)

  • 4 of 10mmx2mm disk magnet
  • 4 x M3 socket head screw with minimum length at 12mm
  • 4 x M3 hex nut, 5.5mm width, 2.3mm thickness

How to use These files (See photos for side by side comparison)

  • DoorCatch DoorFront.3mf
    • Attach to acrylic panel. This is the only choice. Pause at 2.80mm height to insert magnets. Check polarity.
  • DoorCatch FrameFront Lowprofile.3mf
    • Pick one of the following two. This one offers 1mm more clearance to fit the door compare to the regular.
  • DoorCatch FrameFront Regular.3mf
    • Original design, same size as the backing piece (Frameback regular.3mf). Tighter fit with the door.
  • DoorCatch FrameFront Jig.3mf
    • A jig used to mark hole for drilling. Essentially the regular piece with a 1mm edge added. Thus it gives 1mm clearance when paired with the regular piece and 2mm clearance with the lowprofile
  • DoorCatch FrameBack Regular.3mf
    • Backing piece for both the DoorFront and the FrameFront. Insert a m3 nut at height 4.00mm with a pause midprint.
  • DoorCatch FrameBack Lowprofile.3mf
    • The vertical portion of the enclosure has no space to mount the full sized backing piece, thus this is created. Insert a m3 nut at height 4.00mm with a pause mid-print.
