This is a dice tray I 3D-modeled for a friend who is a huge fan of the pen&paper game "Vampire: The Masquerade".

So the dice tray has the look of a "vampire castle" with a hexagonal dice rolling area with a tip-to-tip diameter of 260 mm.

It also has the special feature of replacable bottom mats: The top of the castle is magnetically attached to the bottom, which holds a hexagonal mat of 3 mm thickness and a tip-to-tip diameter of 270 mm. You can replace it with every color or material you want (foam, felt, leather etc.) I personally glued 1 mm thick felt in different colors to a 2 mm foam sheet which is a nice surface to roll dice on.

To build this dice tray, you also need 12 round magnets (8 mm diameter, 3 mm thickness) which you can superglue into the bottom and top part. Keep track of their polarity when putting them in :D

In the files for the model you also find a PDF with a pattern for the bottom mat. Print it out on your printer on paper (propably in "tiled mode" as it is too big for A4 or letter sized paper), tape the parts together, cut out the hexagon and use it as a template to cut out your bottom mat materials like foam, fabrics, leather etc.
