Furniture Roller - Castor with break - Smooth 360 ° Rotation - Suitable for IKEA Lack - Möbelrolle

This furniture rollers have smooth 360 rotation around the vertical axis and can be used for example for your Prusa Enclosure V2 - MMU2S to make it movable around your room.

The measurements of the roller matches the dimensions of the IKEA Lack feet (50 x 50 mm).

The uploaded G-Code is separated into two prints, so you can print it in 2 colours. Or you can use the G-Code for all-parts to print it one colour.

I tested the roller with 20 kg without any sign of wear or deformation.

Instruction

• print all parts - for the “Roller” and the “body_below” you will need supports from the print bed

• remove the supports
• insert the parts into the roller - at first one ball bearing and then from the other side the spacer_center and the second ball bearing

• Insert the m3 nut into the Break_Disk

• Insert this part into the Break_Block. Take care that the nut is oriented to the opposite side of the opening.

• Insert the M3x18 Screw into the Break_Screw part.

• Insert the Break_screw into the Body_below (for better movement - at first screw the Break_Screw completely into the body). 
• Fix the Break_Screw on the Break_Block with the M3-screw in the M3-nut.

• Insert the threaded rod (a bit shorter than 50 mm) into the lower body and place the spacer, the roller and then the second spacer on the rod (take care that the smaller diameter of the spacer is aligned to the roller)

• secure the threaded rod from both sides with the nuts and put the lids over it
• place the parts of the axial ball bearings into the body_above and body_below (take care to place the one with the smaller inner diameter into the body_above)

• screw the upper part where you want it (the holes are made for 5 mm Pan Head screws) - I recommend to pre-drill with 3mm and to use the drilling-template

• place the lower part onto it, and secure it with the printed nut (a plier is helpful for this step)

• Width         - 50.00x50.00 mm
• Height        - 66.95 mm

• Supports: only for “body_below” and “Roller” - from the printing bed
