I tried lots of ways over the years to mount these in my home theater but nothing stood up to the SVS subwoofer bass and I can't tolerate any rattling. Now that I have a 3d printer I can actually make a proper wall mount 😊 from TPU.

I believe this 14.5" size is the most common steel film reel you will find online or elsewhere for the pervasive 35mm film. I have one made by “Goldberg Bros” and another one with no markings. It does need to have the recessed center (20mm±5mm deep) to be compatible with this design. Most of the ones I've seen on ebay or etsy are this design.

Since I wanted things dead-quiet I used TPU Flex 98A filament w/0.15mm layer height for the mount. This allows you to bolt it super-tight to a stud. The bolts can be any material.
The screws are vertically aligned so you can mount to a stud if you like. After that the reel goes on and then screw in the bolts hold the reel. The reel sits about a ½ inch from the wall impervious to vibrations.
