The center axis of the original design does fit the m6 and m3 screws, but i super glued them in my assembly anyway. Shown print uses Jessie Premium PLA in Green Ice color. I'm including the freecad file I created in case anyone wants to make their own adjustments.
I printed the base at 50% infill - seems stable for now, but it hasn't really been put through real use. If absolutely necessary, i'd add stick-on golf club weights to the base edges for stability.
You can use the spinner axis, toolbox, and yarn holder from the original design.
The author remixed this model.
I split the yarn section of the base off into its own part, rounded the bottom edge and the arm connection slot. I also recreated the magnet-insert arm to have rounded edges and fit a stack of 3 12x2mm magnets. I tapered the bottom tip of the arm so it fits into the modified slot - I super glued this on my build due to laziness, but it's still easier than relying on epoxy.
